Doc Holliday Live!
As many of you know, I no longer perform the good doctor.
Living History at your event.
How did a young Southern gentleman become the most feared, legendary shootist of the Old West? A lightning temper, iron courage and uncanny skills with the tools of his trades, helped him survive for fifteen years on the “Circuit” in some of the wildest times and places: Dallas, Fort Griffin, Denver, Cheyenne, Deadwood, Dodge City and Tombstone. How did he meet Wyatt Earp, Bat Masterson and other bigger-than-life figures of western legend? Who was Big-Nose Kate and what hand did she play in his life? How did he live through it all, only to die in bed of consumption in Glenwood Springs, Colorado at the ripe old age of 36? Doc Holliday Live can bring the answers to these questions to your event!
Laudator Temporis Acti
R.W. “Doc” Boyle brings the good Doctor and his fascinating times back to life. Meet John Henry “Doc” Holliday; shake the hand that held the gun, and hear from the spittin’ image of Doc himself, the almost unbelievable tales of one of the strangest paradoxes of the Old West! Your group will be joined by Doctor John Henry Holliday. A Southern gentleman well educated for his times and about his times. (1851 to 1887) A Doctor of Dental Surgery (1872), socially adept, with a good sense of humor, popular in his own times as a young man in the social circles of Atlanta, Georgia. He is also the Doc Holliday of Western legend, friend of Wyatt Earp, Gambler, Plainsman, Gunfighter! A major participant in the “Gunfight at the OK Corral” October 26, 1881. Doc Holliday Live
will introduce you to the man.

Doc will present formal or informal “talks” from a few minutes up to two hours. On stage, after dinner, a campfire; many settings are possible. Doc will take your guests questions about his life and times. Doc can also work one-on-one, as just another interesting guest circulating between guests and tables at your event. Doc will appear in the appropriate dress of his times, equipped with the “tools” of his trades. He will be armed with antique and/or replica, real firearms of the types known to have been used by Doc. Doc will tell your group “How It Was!” Doc Holliday Live brings stories and tales in the first person from the adventures of one of the shapers-of-the-clouds of Western Legend. Some will see a glimpse of the real man hidden away in the mists of time.
